Each figure is recorded against the specific edition of the study it came from, along with its exact scope, and the register is re-checked when new editions publish. Where a revision changes a paper’s argument, the paper is updated and the date on the page moves with it.
Yes — quote what is useful, with attribution and a link back. Third-party research is named in the text rather than paraphrased anonymously, so you can go to the original and check our reading of it.
