Privacy Policy — PRASOON

1. Who we are

PRASOON (“we”, “us”) is a design-led development advisory practice based at Dubai Design District, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We are the controller of any personal data described in this policy.

2. What this website does not do

Stated first, because it removes most of what a privacy policy usually has to cover:

No cookies are set, by us or by anyone else.
No analytics, tag manager, pixel, or advertising script runs.
Nothing is written to local storage or session storage.
No profiling and no automated decision-making takes place.
We do not sell, rent, or share personal data for anyone else’s marketing.

There is no cookie banner on this site because there are no cookies to consent to.

3. What we collect

If you email or call

There is no contact form on this site. The only way to reach us is to email or call directly, which means nothing is collected until you choose to make contact, and what we hold is simply your message and the address or number you sent it from.

We use it to reply to you and, if we go on to work together, to carry on that correspondence. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to an enquiry you initiated, and where relevant, taking steps at your request before entering a contract.

Automatically, when any page loads

Our host keeps standard server logs — IP address, user agent, page requested, timestamp — for security, abuse prevention, and diagnosing faults. These are not linked to any identity and are not used to build a profile.

4. Who processes it

We keep the list of third parties as short as we can. It is currently three entries long.

Netlify and Google are based in the United States, so server logs and font requests involve a transfer outside the UAE. Both operate under standard contractual clauses for such transfers.

Sanity appears here for completeness rather than because it touches you. The site is built into static files ahead of time, so no part of your visit reaches Sanity.

5. How long we keep it

Email and call records: for as long as the enquiry or relationship is live, and then for up to two years, after which we delete them unless a contract or a legal obligation requires otherwise.
Server logs: retained by our host on a short rolling window, typically around 30 days.

6. Your rights

Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) and, where it applies to you, the UK and EU GDPR, you may ask us to give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or provide it in a portable form.

Write to ps@prasoon.design. We will respond within 30 days. We do not charge for this, and we will not ask why.

If you are not satisfied with our response you may complain to the UAE Data Office or, if you are in the UK or EU, to your national supervisory authority.

7. Security

The site is served over HTTPS only. Because it is a set of static files with no database, no form handler, and no server-side application, there is no visitor-facing system holding personal data that could be breached at all.

8. Children

This site is aimed at property owners, developers, and their advisors. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

9. Changes

If we change how we handle data — adding analytics, for example — we will update this page and move the date at the top. Anything that requires your consent will be asked for before it starts, not after.
